     I am writing this letter on behalf of my real estate agent, Marian Gregor.
     Cinthia and I had been in the area for 6 months before we decided that it made more sense to buy a house in the Ann Arbor area instead of renting for the foreseeable future.  We needed a real estate agent that had considerable experience in the Ann Arbor area, would understand our needs and help us buy the house that best suited us.  Fortunately, my colleagues at work referred Marian to me.  They were extremely pleased by her handling of their real estate needs, and assured me that she would easily meet Cinthia and my real estate needs in the Ann Arbor area.  Within 24 hours of my contacting her, she got me in touch with Susan Mackley, a Mortgage broker, who had me pre-approved the very same day.  In the meantime, Marian had house listings within our budget range e-mailed to us and had us pick the houses we were interested in viewing the following week.  She escorted (us) to the various houses that we were interested in viewing.  She informed us of the Schools, taxes and the crime rate in the areas where the houses were located.  While viewing the houses she pointed out the various updates and also the deficiencies of the houses.  Most importantly, she skipped a number of houses that were within our budget but lacked value for our money.  She also made sure that the houses we were interested in had excellent re-sale value.  Needless to say, we found the house we wanted within a week in the neighborhood that we were interested in living and well within our budget.  She had the offer letter drafted the same day that we found our house and had it hand delivered to the seller.  Much to our delight, the offer was immediately accepted.  Marian helped us every step of the way from inspection of the house to closing, all of which happened in less than 3 weeks.  We were very pleased with her work, and would not hesitate to recommend her to cater to the real estate needs of any other individuals, couples, or families in the Ann Arbor area.

I am writing to let you know of the outstanding professional service my husband and I recently received from your staff member, Marian Gregor.

Marian expertly coached us to make the most time and cost-effective repairs to our 100 year old farm house.  While our home is very beautiful, with magnificent gardens along the Raisin River, it could certainly use a great deal of loving care due to its age.  As we have two small children, time and money are not something we have in unlimited supply. She applied her knowledge and skill as a Realtor to our beautiful but needy home to limit the repairs to only those that would have the greatest impact on a buyer.

Marian helped us to find contractors who would do a good job for a good price.  She gave us references, and contacted them directly if needed, in order to obtain timely service, even in the height of the work season.  She seemed to accomplish the impossible.  The contractors repeatedly told us they were unavailable for months, but after a call from Marian, they would appear within the week.  Marian's contacts, and her willingness to intervene, allowed us to put our house on the market in record time.

Marian then guided us through the entire selling process with skilled professionalism.  She told us how to help our house appear its best.  When the offer was received, she worked with us to obtain the best possible price.  Once the price was agreed, she helped us to meet the buyer's contingencies.  She found the contractors to do work as needed. She even sent her own husband to help us open windows painted shut decades earlier!  Marian patiently coordinated every aspect of the selling process.

Recently, we sold our home in Ann Arbor.  I want to take a moment to acknowledge how wonderfully our Keller Williams Agent Marian Gregor represented our interests.

To set this all in context, we purchased our home in Ann Arbor almost 20 years ago, and Marian brokered that deal.  We walked in to her open house and wrote a full price offer.  In the two decades since, Marian has kept in touch with us.  When it came time to list the house, there was never a question as to with whom.

Last fall, we contacted Marian because I was considering retiring in the spring, and wanted some sense of the current market and the value of our property.  Marian came and spent a couple of hours with us, then did some market research and came back with listing parameters and a comprehensive list of issues to address in order to get the maximum price.  We worked at that until May, and then decided to proceed.
